Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (DNP preferred) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes through innovative approaches, including medication management with supportive psychotherapy, in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments using clinical research principles and medical terminology.

- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications in accordance with state regulations and best practices, utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes.

- Deliver psychotherapy services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other modalities tailored to individual needs.

- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching strategies to promote recovery and well-being.

- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting clinical notes, medication management details, and supporting psychotherapy.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology related to psychopharmacology and medication management for behavioral health conditions.

- Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient assessment and follow-up care; knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards.

- Excellent communication skills for patient education
